All voice lessons are taught in a professional, positive, supportive and creative environment. The approach to vocal training and the art of singing is based on clear physical and cognitive awareness as well as on a strong foundation of musical and vocal technique. The aim is to guide you toward achieving your musical goals, integrating a healthy singing technique.


- Improve tone, pitch, breath support, intonation, volume, posture, relaxation, and general voice quality.

- Gain awareness of the physical tensions and habits that are hindering you and develop  your physical, emotional and technical capacity to sing freely.

 
- Enhance your enjoyment and confidence of singing and speaking in public.

The voice lessons are flexible and interactive and can include: practical coaching and working through of songs; exercises; the development of awareness patterns; and performance skills required to get you to your next level. Each voice lesson is individually tailored to your musical development, singing style, and current vocal awareness and needs.
 
The typical objectives are: to uncover, release and develop your unique singing voice; and to develop and refine awareness skills, vocal techniques, and performance skills that you can take away with you and apply to a lifetime of healthy, productive and enjoyable singing.

Discount for Lesson Packages:

A 20% discount per lesson may be given if a student chooses to pay for a group of 4 or more lessons in advance.
 

Cancellations:
Cancellations due to sickness or emergencies must be made BY PHONE at least ONE DAY IN ADVANCE.  9 a.m. the day before the lesson is scheduled is considered ONE DAY IN ADVANCE.  Cancellations due to any other reason should be made BY PHONE as soon as the student knows that the lesson needs to be missed but no later than 48 hours before the lesson day and time.  Again, 9 a.m. two days before the lesson is consedered a 48-hour notice.   Cancellations made via e-mail/text message are not accepted in ANY circumstances.  No exceptions will be made.  If a lesson must be missed and you have given the required notice, the lesson can be rescheduled.  Cancellations due to extreme weather conditions are to be made by mutual agreement. In case of such conditions, if the instructor has not canceled the lesson, the above policies apply.


Missed Lessons:
Payment is due for missed lessons that have not been previously canceled. If a payment is not made for the missed lesson, additional lessons will not be scheduled until payment is received. In addition you could lose the scheduled time slot.  All missed lessons are charged at the full lesson rate.
